Tapered roller bearings feature :

Tapered roller bearings feature a cup and cone assembly. The cup is comprised of the outer ring and the cone assembly consists of inner ring, rollers, and cage. This bearing construction accommodates combined loads and provides low friction during operation. By adjusting one single row tapered roller bearing against a second tapered roller bearing and applying a preload, a rigid bearing application can be achieved.

Tapered roller bearings are mainly suitable for bearing the combined radial and axial load. The larger the contact angle of the outer ring raceway, the greater the ability to bear the axial and radial load ratio. The linear contact between roller and raceway makes tapered roller bearing have large
bearing capacity. 
Tapered roller bearings refer to radial thrust bearings with rolling bodies as tapered rollers, classifying small cone angle and big cone angle. The small cone angle is mainly subjected to radial and axial joint loads based on radial load, which is often used in double and installed reversely. Its internal and external seats can be installed separately and the radial and axial clearance can be adjusted in the installation and use. The big cone angle is mainly subjected to axial and radial load based on axial loads, which is not used alone to bear pure axial load. The load can be used as a pair of configurations to withstand pure radial load.
     Tapered roller bearings are separable bearings, which inner and outer rings have conical raceway. According to the number of rollers, the bearings are divided into single row, double rows, four rows and other rows tapered roller bearings. Single row tapered roller bearings can withstand radial loads and single-aspect axial loads. When the bearing is subjected to radial load, an axial thrust load will be generated, so it needs another bearing that can bear the reverse axial force to balance them. 
      Tapered roller bearings are widely used in automobiles, rolling mills, mines, metallurgy, plastics machinery and other industries.

Maintenance for linear bearings :

Metal linear bearing maintenance: lubrication and friction: linear bearing internal injection anticorrosive oil, if use grease lubrication, use kerosene or organic solvent first remove anticorrosive oil, dried to add grease.(it is recommended to use the cohesive markers for N0.2 lithium soap grease.) if the oil lubrication, don't need to remove anticorrosive oil, according to the temperature change can choose ISO viscosity lubricating oil level Shaft lubrication oil pipe in water supply for people, or for oil from the oil hole on the bearing seat.Because of the sealing ring will scrape the lubricating oil, oil lubrication is not applicable to nonporous sealing ring bearing.
